Mobile Information System

The major problem of mobile devices to display the data always has focused on the difficulty of doing so in a clear and particularly useful.

No matter what operating system or device in question, the data are more or less agreeable, but are never able to be as effective as if the same query is performed from a personal computer.

To solve this problem we will work with Roambi, this is a Maellmo App available on the App Store for free. Its purpose is to display data graphically to get users to use the information shown on decision making under its responsibility. This is ultimately the definition of Business Intelligence (BI) refers to the use of data for decision-making.

To use this application you must create an account or if you already have an account with Google, with this account can log, this is the link http://www.roambi.com

It will be presented in a screen like the one shown below where the user can choose which type of statistic to generate. For this paper we will use two and the Super List and Cake View.

To generate statistics, first select the type of view you want, once this is done, select the option to download the Excel template for the arrangement of the information and click Select This View button.

The next screen will be the load with the template previously downloaded with our information, for this select the My Computer icon, and we look for the file, and click Open.

The page will automatically upload the files and generate a preview of the graph.

By clicking on the next button, there is an option to publish this view on the device, so that the publication be successful, the device must have the application installed and be linked to the same account.

The download for this view is done automatically on the device.
